Honey Dream Body Cream is an all-natural, whipped body cream that lathers on perfectly after a shower. Packed with calendula oil, local honey, beeswax, chamomile extract, and colloidal oats, it is deeply nourishing and moisturising, but light enough to use every day. It is lightly aromatic, containing essential oils of sweet fennel and cinnamon, making it indulgent, sensual, and perfect for sensitive skin.
How to use
How: Using a small amount, rub on the legs, arms, and torso, moisturising the whole body.
When: Best after a shower on clean skin so that the skin can absorb the botanical compounds present in the cream.
Pro tip: Pat dry skin after a shower and apply Honey Dream Body Cream while the skin is still slightly damp. This helps to better emulsify the cream into the skin, leaving it lush and shiny.

The Science Behind The Formula
HONEY & Beeswax
Honey, beeswax and other bee products have been used on skin for thousands of years for their ability to heal wounds, soothe skin, and reduce skin irritation associated with eczema. Containing over 180 active compounds, honey is included in this formula for its nutritional and regenerative effects. Thanks to its high content of carbohydrates and fruit acids, honey detoxifies the skin and allows it to regenerate faster. While beeswax has fewer active compounds, it softens the skin and decreases transepidermal water loss, keeping skin hydrated for longer.

We prepare our own oil infusion of Calendula officinalis in our Medera laboratory. At low temperatures, we perform a whole plant extract the Calendula flower into grapeseed oil. This creates an oil extract rich in the oleoresins, flavonoids, fatty acids and carotenoids from the calendula flower. These compounds together produce an anti-inflammatory, wound healing effect that regenerates skin and reduces irritation.
colloidal oats
Colloidal oats which is a very finely ground form of oats, is included in Medera's Honey Dream Body Cream because it "seals" the skin, preventing water loss, but also allows for better absorption of the other ingredients present in this cream. It leaves a velvety feeling on the skin, and is scientifically backed by dermatologists as one of the safest treatment options for those with atopic dermatitis.

We prepare our own chamomile-in-ethanol extract in-house at the Medera laboratory using distillation techniques. As a gentle anti-inflammatory and soothing agent, chamomile is often used to treat skin conditions such as eczema and sunburn. It inhibits tyrosinase activity on the skin, which also makes it great for hyperpigmentation and patchy skin. It is useful during skin repair and healing, especially for those with sensitive skin.

Honey Dream Body Cream is made with plant extracts, emulsifiers of plant origin, and is preservative free. We use an Australia Certified Organic preservative made from vegetable extracts, allowing us to label this product preservative free. It is labelled on our products as parfum, the legally correct way of labelling this ingredient, but it is sold under the trade name "Naticide". Honey Dream Body Cream is perfumed exclusively with essential oils, and therefore contains no synthetic fragrances or colours. Honey Dream Body Cream has a naturally beige/yellow colour due to the plant extracts used.
Synthetics, including preservatives, can damage the integrity of the skin barrier and exacerbate skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. This is because they disrupt the skin’s natural biome. Honey Dream Body Cream is made entirely out of ingredients with a natural origin, including ingredients in their whole form, such as a whole plant extract of chamomile and calendula.
